Free $10 Restaurant.com Certificate & Discounted Food during the Hurricane via Seamless

by Adam

Restaurant.com seems to have an offer almost every other week where you can purchase a $25 dining certificate for as low as $4 (even lower if you use cash back sites like shopathome which provides 31% cash back on restaurant.com purchases, bringing the total price to around $2.76 for a $25 gift certificate). Well, even better, today you can get a free $10 restaurant.com certificate by liking Restaurant.com’s Facebook page.  Click this link for that free offer. Reader Aaron in New York, NY, informs us that this $10 eGift certificate can be used towards any purchase, including the discounted purchases above, meaning this offer can be redeemed for almost 4 $25 gift cards when taking into account the cash back option! You can see participating restaurants here, which are available throughout the country. Remember, if you use OpenTable and have any OpenTable vouchers, they can be combined with your restaurant.com certificate at most establishments.

Update from DealsWeLike re Aaron’s comment – You actually have to go to a slightly different website to redeem the eCertificate. So this really will only give you $10 free – which can still be great! Keep in mind though that not all restaurants offer $10 certificates.

For those of you stuck in NY, NJ, CT, PA, or DC during the hurricane, remember that seamless is offering 10% back on all orders using their app on an iPhone or Android device, just enter code SCREAM when placing your order. Additionally, they are offering $7 off any purchase of $15 or more for liking their Facebook page via this link.  Not many places will still be delivering during the storm, but my local diner has said they intend to keep going throughout…now just getting up and down the 16 flights without an elevator!

I absolutely love restaurant.com, especially in NYC. However, these free $10 eCertificate (and any other eCertificates you receive from restaurant.com) cannot be utilized with the weekly coupon codes. You actually have to go to a slightly different website to redeem the eCertificate. So this really will only give you $10 free – which can still be great! Keep in mind though that not all restaurants offer $10 certificates.

Not only you have to like restaurant.com on facebook but you also have to find a pumpkin in the timeline (hint: July 2006), click on the URL in that post and enter your information and e-mail address when prompted in order to receive a code within 24 hours.
