Non Posting Crossover Rewards Update from Delta & Starwood

by Adam

Last week I posted, Good Luck if Your Crossover Rewards Don’t Post – It’s A Battle with DL & SPG, well after one more email to Delta (a total of 4 between both companies), the problem has finally been resolved. Here’s the response, owed points posted less than 24 hours after receiving the final response. Hopefully future Crossover postings are more automated…

Dear Mr. Adam,

Thank you for contacting Delta Air Lines.

1) I have forwarded this issue to the proper department for handling.
Please allow up to a couple weeks for review of this. I will either
contact you with the outcome or the department reviewing this issue will
contact under separate cover.

2) Regarding ticket number 006xxxxxx, we show your travel was eligible for Starpoints, this should be credited to your Starwood account soon.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to
contact us.

Sincerely,

xxxxx

@Carole Zoom – Here are the official T&Cs – “If you are registered for Crossover Rewards and are an SPG Platinum or Gold elite member, Starpoints that you earn for eligible Delta flights will post to your SPG Member account for each segment within 4 to 6 weeks after the segment of the eligible Delta flight is completed. If you are registered for Crossover Rewards and are a Delta Medallion member, Delta miles will post to your SkyMiles account within 4 to 6 weeks after your Starpoints post to your account for such Eligible Stay.”

@Adam, so what should we do now if we want to complain about missing crossover points? Do you have an email address from Delta side or SPG side to share with us? Thanks a lot!

@Pablo – I used the Contact Us link at the top of the Delta.com page. You’ll most likely receive a generic or canned response at first, but then respond back to that email. Unfortunately, they haven’t provided with a better contact method for the readers.
