An Interesting Perk – Free Bus Service to the Airport – Where’s the Chopper?

by Adam

Here’s one of the more interesting perks, LAN is offering free bus transportation between Newark Penn Station / Union City / Paterson Station and JFK Airport to all passengers traveling to Ecuador, Peru, Chile and Argentina. Of course, other foreign airlines offer a free airport transportation perk via black car, though that’s usually limited to first class and/or business passengers. This bus perk (yes, it’s the bus) is open to everyone. Hat tip to our Juicy Miles booker Chris for discovering this!

PS – Anyone remember when Delta and Continental were running the free helicopter rides to JFK / EWR for BusinessElite and BusinessFirst customers on US Helicopter? My private chopper ride along the East River with an air-side landing at Delta’s Terminal 3, Gate 11 was awesome!  I then flew on to Mumbai (when they had the direct flight) during the 3x miles promotion!
