$5 from Amazon & Starbucks. Exxon, BP, Best Buy, and Walmart Discounts Too…

by Adam

Here’s an easy way to get $5 towards a future Amazon.com purchase as well as a Starbucks purchase:

AmazonClick here and share what you are most wishing for this holiday season. You’ll receive the coupon code just a few minutes later and can then remove Amazon’s access to your Facebook profile. This discount is good for $5 off a $35 purchase by December 15th. Hopefully you got in on the AMEX $25 Amazon promo from earlier this week as well!

Don’t forget about some of the other great offers from American Express including $5 off Exxon Mobil, $5 off BP, $25 off BestBuy, and $20 off Walmart.com.  To see if the offers are available on your cards, log in to americanexpress.com, click on a card, scroll to the bottom of the page where you’ll see two tabs, and select the “offers” tab which is to the right of the “latest transactions” tab. Three of my five cards have the Exxon Mobil offer…which is only good at the pump. See the details for each offer below including required spend and offer expiration dates.

Forgive me, but being a very light Facebook user, how do I delete the Amazon access?

I tried the Starbucks eGift yesterday got error. Tried it just now again when this article reminded me of it, and I still get:

Oops, something has gone wrong!

We’re sorry, but we can’t perform the update right now. Please try again later.

When I email Starbucks about it yesterday, they (un)helpfully suggested I phone in during business hours instead of pester them about their broken stuff by email.
