With so many BoardingArea readers taking advantage of the Citi Executive AAdvantage World Elite MasterCard which includes Admirals Club membership privileges, I figured why not include a picture trip report for the DFW Terminal D Admirals Club which I visited prior to my Tokyo flight.

This is part one of a six part trip report from my travels to Japan:

A coupon for one complimentary premium wine, beer, liquor, or bottled water was provided with my First Class ticket.

With so many AA clubs at DFW they always seem to be pleasant and not over crowded (most of the time). I wish they would trade out the white pretzels for Chocolate ones 🙂
Nice review.

I gotta say that even if DFW were not my home airport, all of the Admiral’s Clubs here are very, very nice. The one in Terminal D reviewed above has an excellent view of the west runways, too. In addition, it’s a lot easier and nicer to get help at the desk in the event of a flight delay or cancellation — the folks there are always awesome!

Very detailed and interesting review, as always! I have
to say, while I enjoy the Terminal D Admiral’s Club lounge, I find it surprising there is no Flagship Lounge at DFW, given how many international flights there are at this hub. This Admiral’s Club is a sad substitute, especially when flying international First.

It looks like if you have a choice between the American Express Centurion Lounge and the American Lounge that one would want to choose the Centurion Lounge. The food options and drinks and other things that they provide is great.
