As part of the renovation of Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, the resort has opened 20 Tahitian-style overwater bungalows. They are located just minutes from the Magic Kingdom with views of Cinderella’s Castle and the nightly fireworks show. However, don’t expect to save any money just because you’re in central Florida rather than the South Pacific. The two-bedroom villas go for $2,137 a night if you’re not a member of Disney’s Vacation Club. Check out Yahoo’s video review below:

It can’t be just me, but these are not “exciting”. They look like crap in comparison to luxe overwater bungalows. Unless this is an AI rate (and perhaps not even then), you cannot justify that price tag.
It’s a great idea, but the Seven Seas Lagoon is off limits to swimming, on account of the deadly amoebae.
The main advantage is the size for large groups, but for my money, give me the Hilton Bora Bora Nui!
