Japan Airlines to Suspend Paris (CDG) – Narita (NRT) Flights Amid Downturn

by Adam

JAL said yesterday that they plan to suspend their once daily round-trip flight between Paris and Narita after customer demand faded in the wake of the Paris attacks. A company spokesman said that only 40% of seats have been occupied on recent NRT-CDG flights.

“The airline will suspend flights between Paris and Narita from January 12 through February 29 except for several days. (We) will decide whether to resume the Paris-Narita flights in March after observing the situation next year.”

JAL will continue their once daily Paris-Haneda flights which are currently averaging a 60% load factor.
