Today, Boeing and ANA (All Nippon Airways) celebrated the airline’s 100,000th revenue flight with the 787 Dreamliner.  The momentous occasion occurred at Seattle’s Sea-Tac International Airport, and marks the flight airline in the world which has made 100,000 revenue flights in the Boeing Dreamliner.

In the press release, ANA’s president and CEO, Osamu Shinobe, points out that ANA is “the largest customer of the 787” in the world.  ANA was the launch customer of the 787 Dreamliner, with the first 787 officially delivered on September 25, 2011.  ANA also served as the first airline to carry commercial passengers on the 787 Dreamliner during its flight from Tokyo Narita to Hong Kong on October 26, 2011.  Not surprisingly, ANA has accumulated approximately a quarter of all 787 revenue flights.  ANA operates the world’s largest Dreamliner fleet with 44 of these planes in total.
