Royal Caribbean to Stop Cutting Prices at the Last Minute

It is extremely common for cruise companies to reduce rates at the last minute whenever their ships are far from being fully booked. This allowed savvy cruisers to consistently find bargains within a month from sailing. Nonetheless, this will no longer be possible with one of the largest cruise companies in the world.

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. CEO Richard Fain has announced that his company will no longer cut prices at the last minute for cruises of five nights or longer. This applies to Royal Caribbean, Azamara Club and Celebrity Cruises.

It will be interesting to see what Royal Caribbean will do now with unsold cabins within a month from sailing. Surely they do not want all of those cabins to remain empty.
