2 Videos inside the Cabin during Emirates Evacuation

Due to the amazing cabin crew, firefighters, first responders, and ground staff, some 300 people were safely evacuated from the Emirates 777 that crash-landed at Dubai Airport yesterday. Sadly, one firefighter, Jassim Eissa al-Baloushi, lost his life bravely fighting the fire and saving lives.

Two videos show the chaos inside the cabin as the evacuation commenced.

  1. Once again just like we saw in San Francisco with the crash of the Asiana… People opening overhead bins to get hand luggage which causes a delay in the immediate exit of the aircraft. I always keep my passport tickets ID and wallet on my person for this very reason. Everything else is replaceable. it’s truly amazing and a credit to the crew that they were able to get everyone out with their luggage in such a quick time frame

  2. What is more stupid than someone having time to hold their phones to record videos while inside a metal tube bursting in flames?
