Fare Deal: New York to Cebu for $180 Roundtrip!

by Enoch

You can get from New York (JFK) to Cebu (CEB) for less than $180 roundtrip next summer! The itinerary is not the most desirable one, since it involves two stops and a long layover on the way back, but this is an incredible fare!

The fares look to be available for Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday departures, and is available June 2017. You will be flying Philippine Airlines, from New York to Manila, with a stop (no plane change) in Vancouver, and then connect to Cebu. This is kind of like Cathay Pacific’s service from New York to Hong Kong via Vancouver.

The fares are available on sites like Priceline, and you can cancel within 24 hours with no penalty (though make sure you check with the agency).

This may be an error fare, so if you’re jumping in, I wouldn’t book hotels and other activities just yet. There is always a chance that the airline could quickly cancel your ticket. If you’re interested, though, the fare could be going away. So this is one of those “book first” scenario.

The fare code for this ticket is Economy (U), so you can credit your miles to Etihad for 50% (international portion) and 75% (domestic portion). You can also credit your flight to ANA, where you will earn 50% of the flown miles.

Let us know if you’re jumping in on this deal!

WHY WOULD YOU CALL IT AN ERROR FARE?????????????

I’m sure you’ll never allow this to pass moderation, but this is why these fares almost never get honored. The DOT will specifically point to blogs calling it error fares. Way to be part of the problem.
