On Wednesday, November 16th at 12 noon CST, Jeff Zidell, Senior Vice President and head of World of Hyatt will be hosting a Reddit Ask Me Anything (AMA) session and answering your questions about Hyatt’s new loyalty program. An email invite will go out next week with instructions on how to participate.
I’m excited and a bit anxious on how this will go. The last major travel related AMA featured Brian Kelly (The Points Guy) and was a bit of a cluster, hopefully this one will stay a bit more refined.
I’ll be participating and have a question for Mr. Zidell. Although its been confirmed by Mommy Points, I’m hoping to have Mr. Zidell confirm the stay 25 nights between January 1 through February 28 strategy to re-qualify for Diamond Globalist status until February 2019. The T&C’s are a bit unclear and I would feel a lot better with something in writing, especially from the head of the program in case Hyatt decided to pull any shenanigans.

Nope. Total Charlie-Foxtrot on this one. Even though he extended it an hour or so, there were dozens (hundreds?) of questions; he answered only maybe a dozen and with non-answer marekting BS answers. What a joke. Two hours of my life I’d like to reclaim but cannot.
And I’m still clueless about what ‘all this means’ for the program, except it has to mean we’re getting the shaft… somehow.
