CRAZY DEAL: Four Seasons Palo Alto for $35 per Night!

by Enoch

This is a pretty incredible deal that probably won’t last! You can book The Four Seasons Palo Alto in Silicon Valley for $35 a night plus taxes, with limited dates from May 2017 to August 2017. You have to search for just one guest, and availability is pretty scattered.

Per Extreme Hotel Deals, here are the available dates, which I was able to book (and confirm) as of this writing (7:30 pm ET).

  • May: 12, 26
  • June: 2, 9, 10, 23, 30
  • August: 4, 11, 18, 25, 28

The standard rate has a pretty flexible cancellation policy, and you won’t be penalized as long as you cancel one day in advance. The potential drawback for booking is fairly limited, but of course check when you book as it may have changed since this writing.

If you have an American Express Platinum Card, you can even go through Fine Hotel & Resorts to book the stay. This will give you a free breakfast, guaranteed 4 pm late checkout, free breakfast for two, and a $100 spa credit! I booked through FHR, and got my confirmation email in just a couple of minutes.

There is always a chance that the hotel might cancel the nights and not honor the rate, so I wouldn’t book flights to Palo Alto or make other arrangements just yet. But this is a crazy amazing deal with a flexible cancellation policy. So if you think there’s a chance you might be up for a trip or stay there, it could be worth jumping on!

I booked a few nights, but my guess is they’ll probably cancel. I recently got a $49/night deal at the Ritz in Key Biscayne through that site, and the Ritz wouldn’t honor it (they gave it to me for $199 a night to make it up to me, but it took weeks of fighting). I booked that one through the Ritz website. I also booked a hotel in SF for $29 a night through Booking.com, and Booking.com offered me a discounted (but very high rate) and gave me 24 hours to accept. When I responded with a question, trying to get the amount down, they canceled my reservation completely, so I’d avoid using Booking.com for deals like this.
