Earn 250 Aeroplan Miles and Keep Your Miles from Expiring

by Enoch

Aeroplan is offering some incentives for you to share your travel experience! Specifically, you can earn 250 Aeroplan miles by sharing your travel story on their blog, which then might be featured or used in marketing material.

250 miles isn’t a lot; it’s only worth a few bucks depending on your valuation. However, Aeroplan miles expire after just 12 months of account inactivity, so it’s an opportunity to keep your miles from expiring.

You will have to fill out a form including the destination you traveled to, and a little bit about your experience/story. It’s kind of a lot of work for just 250 miles, but then again, there’s no minimum word count, so you can be as brief or as detailed as you’d like.

Though they levy fuel surcharges, Aeroplan remains one of the better ways to redeem points for Star Alliance flights, including Lufthansa First Class. Obviously 250 miles isn’t going to get you there, but hey, every mile counts!

You can fill out the form and share your story here.

The confirm screen said the 250 miles would only be given if the story was selected! 🙁
