A Real Puppy Will Come Snuggle with You Upon Request at This Hotel

by Enoch

There are plenty of posts out there about outrageous requests hotel concierges get around the world, and ridiculous room service offerings. However, many of those come directly from guests rather than being officially advertised by the hotel.

Well, one hotel in San Francisco is making a “Chief Canine Officer” available to hotel guests. This entails a real puppy—named Buster Posey Presutti—meeting the guest for snuggle session. Hotel Nikko San Francisco puts a stuffed toy on guests’ beds, which can be purchased for $29. However, it also includes a card to invite guests to call the operator and schedule a “meet and greet” with the hotel’s chief canine officer.

The hotel has a page detailing their dog friendly policies, which provides each four-legged friend with dog beds, bowl, and treats at a cost of $50 a night. The hotel also has a patio area with a dog-run that’s open daily. Buster the Chief Canine Officer has been living at the hotel since 2015, and even has his own Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts!

Has anyone stayed at the Hotel Nikko San Francisco and avail themselves to this unique perk?
