Sandy – Where the Planes are Being Stashed…

by Adam

JetBlue’s blog has a pretty cool graphic showing where they are storing their planes during Hurricane Sandy. Plans are to shelter planes in Puerto Rico (San Juan, Aguadilla, and Ponce), at several Florida airports, LAX, and even Roswell, New Mexico!

Sandy is expected to wreak havoc on the Northeast beginning tonight, especially here in New York where Air France, Alaska, American, British Airways, Delta, Emirates, JetBlue, KLM, United, and US Airways have already cancelled almost all flights on Monday into and out of JFK, LGA, and EWR, as well as PHL.  Lufthansa has even cancelled flights into JFK/EWR for both Monday and Tuesday.  In better news, my office will be closed Monday and Tuesday!
