MH370 Wreckage Found in the Philippines?

by Adam

UPDATE: Malaysian authorities confirm that the NO wreckage was actually found.

Malaysia’s Police Chief General Khalid Abu Bakar said Philippine authorities had investigated the claims made over the weekend that a plane with a Malaysian flag and human remains inside had been found on the island of Sugbay in the Tawi Tawi province were untrue.

“The Philippines has confirmed there is no plane wreckage,” the state-run Bernama news agency quoted General Khalid as saying in a text message.

Well, this would prove wrong almost all of the assumed theories on the path and potential whereabouts of MH370…

Malaysia authorities are acknowledging that they have received a report from the isolated Sugbay Island in the Philippines of airplane wreckage with the Malaysian flag as well as human remains. The wreckage was supposedly discovered by a teenager who was hunting in the jungle with friends.  Her uncle reported the sighting which was relayed to Malaysian authorities.

The island is not in the flight’s projected path and is 4,800 miles from the flaperon discovery on Reunion Island. Drift modeling of a crash in the southern Indian Ocean puts Reunion Island in the debris field…but not Sugbay Island.

Malaysian authorities have supposedly asked for pictures from their counterparts in the Philippines.

Clickbait. Some crazy aunt somewhere with an outlandish story.

Imagine this plane sitting in the tropics, with decomposing bodies. The smell would be unbearable. You certainly wouldn’t climb in and find nice shiny white skeletons sitting at the controls like some cartoonish Amelia Earhart.

I’m confused as to how this post is clickbait. It’s accurate reposting of news. I haven’t clicked to the source but this post doesn’t say anything unreasonable about the state of the remains. Isn’t it possible that the situs was so remote that nearby townspeople wouldn’t have noticed but for stumbling upon it like this girl did?

If you click through to the Astro Awani source, it talks about a fuselage full of skeletons. Also talks about a dilapidated flag that might be the Malaysian flag. I’m not familiar with any airlines that carry flappy cloth flags. This has about the credility of a UFO sighting at this point.

Whether you think it is credible or not does not matter.

Fact is it is reported on news.com.au, a very very reputable new corporation.. you know? News Corp? Never heard of it? So this blogger is supposed to be an investigator as well? the blogger needs to verify the the news he gets from news.com.au, bbc, cnn, etc? does he need to fly to the Philippines?

grow up.

Yes I’ve heard of News Corp, run by a guy named Rupert Murdoch. They are all over the map and will publish crazy stuff just like anyone else in the infotainment biz. Go search for UFO on their website I get over 10,000 stories.
