Bank of America is sending out targeted offers for a $50 flight discount to their Alaska Airlines Visa Signature cardholders. In order to receive said discount you must activate the offer by clicking on the corresponding activation link included in the offer email and then spend $250 or more with your Alaska Airlines Visa Signature credit card at qualifying book, toy, electronics, sporting goods or department stores from the day you activate the offer through December 31, 2015.
Both of my Alaska Airlines Visa Signature accounts were targeted for this offer, although about a week apart from each other. Therefore, if you have a BoA Alaska Airlines credit card and have still not received this offer, be on the lookout for an email from Bank of America with the following subject: “Your Alaska Airlines Visa Signature(R) credit card”.
The terms and conditions of the offer state that it can take up to 12 weeks from the end of the promotion for the $50 flight discount code to appear in the My Account section of your Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan account. The discount code can only be used on Alaska Airlines flights and is not valid on partner airlines. The $50 flight discount code will expire one year from the date issued to your Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan online account.
If you have more than one one BoA Alaska Airlines credit card you should be able to generate separate discounts by spending the required amounts on each card. However, I am not sure you will be able to combine both discount codes for the same reservation.
