Artist Rich McCor may be one of the funner Instagram accounts to follow if you are a traveler. If you have never been exposed to his work, he takes pictures of famous landmarks, but with his own unique twist.
Rich McCor makes paper cutouts, and blends them into the photos that you and I have taken at every stop along our tourist visit. His work began with a cutout of a watchband placed in front of London’s Big Ben clock tower. The inspiration for placing a cutout in front of the iconic clock came from some quick-stop animation work he’d done. In a CNN interview, Rich says
“In London there are so many iconic landmarks. As a photographer, I wanted to find a way to photograph London in a way it hadn’t been done before.”
His work is unique, and certainly worth a browse.
