Delta LAX Plan Gives the Airline More Gates Than United or American – Details on the Relocation to Terminals 2 & 3

by Adam

Last month LAX authorities provided updates to all airline occupants on Delta’s proposed move from Terminals 5 and 6 to Terminals 2 and 3. BrianSumers provides an excellent outline of what was covered including a new Delta connector inside security to the Tom Bradley International Terminal.  The plan calls for Delta to move into the new terminals before they begin any renovation. It would also surprisingly provide Delta with more gates than United or American at LAX (22-27 gates in T2/3 plus access to gates at TBIT), Delta currently has 16 gates in T5/T6. Delta will be responsible for covering the relocation expenses of any airlines that will need to vacate T2 and T3.

Check out the full article at BrianSumers for full in-depth details as well as the planned relocations for existing T2 & T3 tenant airlines.
