Porsche Simulators and Giveaways at Delta SkyClub in Atlanta!

by Enoch

Until October 14 (that’s tomorrow!), Delta is making three Porsche Simulators available at the Delta SkyClub in Atlanta. This is part of what Delta calls a special “Oktoberfest Experience,” offered in partnership with Porsche.

The simulators are said to feature famous race tracks running on a “special racing software,” and are equipped with acoustic shakers for authentic vibrations. They will also have professional pedal systems, Porsche steering wheels with force feedback, and a paddle shifter. For those who are ultra-competitive, a leaderboard will show the fastest times.

Claude Roussel, Managing Director of Delta SkyClub, said in a press release:

I can’t wait to see how our members and guests react when they try this exciting Porsche racing experience. We love to surprise and delight our guests, and what better way than to pair with this ultimate Porsche driving experience.

Everyday from 3 to 6 pm, staff members from Porsche will be around to instruct guests on the simulators. They will also be handing out Porsche-branded items in giveaways. You can find the simulators at the Delta SkyClub in Concourse E of Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

As part of the larger Oktoberfest Experience, the club will also be offering Riesling tastings all week. Additionally, Delta has added a new menu of snacks, including soft pretzels, German potato salad, German sausages with pickled red cabbage, and chocolate cakes. Yum!

This is not the first “partnership” between Delta and Porsche. Delta already uses a fleet of Porsche to transport Diamond Medallion customers between flights. This service is available at New York (LaGuardia and JFK), Seattle, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Minneapolis/St. Paul.
