Up to 70% Off Samsonite Luggage on Amazon!

There are plenty of great deals this Black Friday, but I wanted to highlight one I came across that might be of interset to travelers out there!

I personally splurge on the carry-on luggage, and have a Tumi suitcase that I absolutely love. But that’s largely because I know I will (mostly) be the only person handling it. However, with larger, checked suitcases, I tend to go for ones that are more economical but can still hold up to a bit of beating. Well, Amazon is having selected Samsonite luggages at up to 70% off as one of their “Deals of the Day.”

For example, you can get this Tread Lite Lightweight Hardside Set in both 20″ and 24″ for $119.99, down from the “original” $429.99.

For the same price, you can also get the Upspin Lightweight Softside Set.

There are both hard-sided and soft-sided options on sale, and they come in a variety of colors. If you are (or know someone who is) in the market for a set of luggages, these might be worth checking out. Amazon is also offering free returns on these items, and has extended the return deadline to January 31, 2017.

I will point out that it can be hard to comparison shop with Samsonite luggages, not unlike buying mattresses. This is because Samsonite seems to produce slightly different products for specific retailers, and they come in all sorts of different sets. Ultimately, I would focus on the features and not product names when comparison shopping. Even within Amazon, you can find more “economic” sets, like this 5-piece basic Samsonite set for the same $119.99, though it doesn’t come with 360° wheels and can be of lower quality. If you’re picking up a set of luggages, just make sure you know what you’re getting!
