NYE Miracle: $845 Cathay Pacific First Class Roundtrip

1:30am EST 1/1/19 Update: Availability seems to be drying up but there are still limited dates still out there. Trial and error through ITA Matrix or through an OTA like Orbitz is your best bet. 

It’s a New Year’s Eve miracle: a screaming “deal” just became available from Vietnam to the USA on Oneworld airline Cathay Pacific. Business class ex-Vietnam starts at $650 but the real value here is in Cathay’s phenomenal first class from $845 roundtrip to many US locations including San Francisco, Vancouver, and New York. Availability seems to be wide open for now.

Please note this only works from Vietnam but repositioning could be well worth it for fares in first that are this low.

These discounted prices don’t seem to be showing on Google Flights. Try booking through an OTA such as Orbitz, or directly through Cathay Pacific’s website.

Let’s see if Cathay pulls a Hong Kong Airlines and honors this one. Happy New Year!
