United is teaming up with Star Wars for a themed livery that looks like it’s from a galaxy far, far away.

The new design will come out this fall on what looks to be a Boeing 737. The unveiling coincides with the trailer release for the latest Star Wars installment, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

United is offering the chance to attend the movie premiere by retweeting the tweet you see above.

United is sure having a blast this month releasing designs of what some of their planes will look like (and also denying rumors of designs). Just a couple of days ago, the airline showcased final designs that will adorn two Boeing 757s. That was part of the crowdsourced “Her Art Here” campaign, highlighting the work of women artists. And later this month, United will announce an entirely new brand design.

The Upshot

The mostly black, intergalactic design sure is sleek. And those who pay close attention to the details will notice that the large United lettering on the themed liveries from both Star Wars and Her Art Here are slightly different than how they currently appear. It’s likely that this font change make its way to the United rebrand to be announced later this month.
