10 Photos: Star Alliance’s Newly Refurbished Paris CDG Lounge

by Chris Dong

Star Alliance has spruced up its Paris lounge by unveiling a newly updated experience at Paris Charles de Gaulle Terminal 1. CDG is dominated by Air France, a SkyTeam member, so it makes sense why Star Alliance is investing in a consolidated lounge product for its member airlines.

The lounge, open daily from 5:30am to 10:00pm, is available to the following passengers flying in first or business or holding Star Alliance Gold status:

  • Aegean
  • Air China
  • ANA
  • Asiana
  • EgyptAir
  • Eva Air
  • Singapore Airlines
  • Thai Airways
  • Turkish Airlines
  • United

Without further ado, here’s 10 photos of the new space.

The Low Down On The New Lounge

This new Star Alliance lounge is one of seven opened by the alliance. In fact, Star Alliance just opened their new Amsterdam lounge several weeks ago.

The particular space in Paris is 980 square meters in total (or about 10,000 square feet) and has capacity for 220. The new Star Alliance Paris lounge’s refresh was “inspired by Parisian design and architecture.”

A unique feature of this lounge is the landscaped garden (which you can see in the photo above), giving guests the opportunity to enjoy the outdoor area before their flight. The lounge also offers an exclusive first class zone for Air China, Singapore Airlines and Thai Airways operated flights.

There’s drinks, hot and cold food items, showers, and a significant increase in the number of power outlets — that’s always welcome.

I found it interesting that this lounge was accessible to Priority Pass guests (and in fact, was one of my favorite Priority Pass lounges I’ve visited to date). As of now, the lounge is still listed on Priority Pass’s website.

If you are US based, these credit cards include Priority Pass Select. This allows you and two guests into any Priority Pass venue:
