One passenger is claiming that he had to undergo a year of HIV testing after he was stabbed by a needle on an LAX – Atlanta (ATL) flight in 2015. Gabriel Ybarra says he reached into the seat pocket to grab his wallet when he was stabbed by a needle instead. He literally had to pull the needle out of his right middle finger. That caused extensive bleeding, prompting his doctor to send him for multiple tests. Gabriel was also required to take strong medication to ensure he didn’t contract a disease. TMZ gained access to the suit:
He says the meds caused months of dizziness, headaches, body aches and “explosive diarrhea.” He also says he couldn’t perform “his duties as a husband to his wife for months.”
Delta would not comment on the lawsuit but did share this:
“We are dismayed by what this customer describes in the suit. The safety and security of our customers and employees is always Delta’s top priority.”
