American Airlines Employee Stalked Passenger – Took Number from Luggage & Followed Her Onboard

by Zoe

Ashley Barno says an American Airlines employee took her number from her carry-on bag and sent her more than 100 texts while following her on a flight from San Diego to Chicago. He tried to convince her to come sit next to him by offering employee benefits like “good seats, access to lounges and free drinks.”

According to the lawsuit, the incident happened last April when the employee messaged her to say that she looked “gorgeous in her gray top.” She was startled when he told her “I am on board now. Are you going to Chicago too?” According to NBC San Diego, Ashely knew something was wrong immediately. The whole time I kept asking him, ‘Who are you? How do you know who I am? How’d you get my info. “Just knowing that he knew what I looked like, and that we were in an enclosed plane and that there’s no way out, like really, really scared me. He had too much information on people, and what he did was not OK, and not acceptable at all.”

She eventually told a flight attendant who said this was not the first time this employee had done something like this. He was met in Chicago by American employees. Ashley is now suing American for negligent hiring, sexual harassment and wrongdoing.

American issued the following statement –

We investigated the allegations and took appropriate action. The employee involved in the complaint is no longer employed at American Airlines.

Both people are bad.

The unnamed AA employee is evil.

Ashley is bad for being a gold digger by suing American Airlines. She is a reason that airfares are high and that AA is yanking IFE from Oasis 737 planes (to save money).
