We’ve previously reviewed the BA Galleries lounge when flying business out of JFK T7, but this is our “first” review of the BA Galleries First Class lounge. This report also marks the first guest post by Enoch, one of the Juicy Miles award bookers. Take it away Enoch… Born and raised in Hong Kong, Cathay Pacific…

This…

I had flown an award with them just weeks before the retrofit, so now almost two years later, I had not yet experienced the “new” business…which I guess isn’t so new anymore. However, it’s still one of the best…

Finally Sampling “New” Cathay Pacific Business Class – Live Up to JAL SKY SUITE?

The last time I flew Cathay business in 2011, I missed having an aircraft with the newly configured business class seat by just a few months. I instead had the old high-walled herring-bone configuration (I actually didn’t mind the confined seat). Today, I’m flying JFK-HKG-BKK and will finally experience the updates that have won numerous “best…

This article really highlights the value of miles, even with the current devaluations. I love how the author assumes that most of his readers will never in their lifetimes be able to afford first class flights on Cathay, Emirates, and Singapore, though all are obtainable with miles and points and our community does it every…
