Delta CEO Confirms Cincinnati Service Safe After Memphis Cuts

by Adam

According to a recorded message to employees from Richard Anderson, CEO of Delta, and obtained by Bloomberg, Cincinnati fliers and employees need not worry about cuts at their hub after the big Memphis based announcement two weeks ago (at least not yet)…

“The Cincinnati hub is doing quite well,” Richard Anderson, chief executive officer of Atlanta-based Delta, said in his weekly recorded message to employees. “We feel really good about where our service levels are there, and beyond what we’ve announced in Memphis, we don’t have any significant network changes planned.”

Bloomberg reports that Delta has already cut daily flights at CVG by 69% since June 2008 and eliminated 840 jobs.
