This may be the easiest 110,000 points I’ve ever earned. Better yet, there was no credit pull and the card has no fees! It was also nice to not be signing up for an additional Amex or Chase card!
Brex Cash is a cash management account that includes a linked credit card. The account is similar to a checking account and the card works like a debit card – you can only spend what you have available in cash. Essentially, you link your checking account and then transfer over funds which allow you to use your Brex account for purchases.
The sign-up bonus is easy to understand, there’s the normal 30K point offer + the 80K OMAAT bonus :
- Earn 80,000 points after spending $1K on your Brex Card (this is an exclusive limited time offer thanks to OMAAT)
- Earn 10,000 additional points after spending $3K on your Brex Card within the first three months
- Earn 20,000 bonus points when you link payroll (or make a PayPal deposit) to your Brex Cash account
The points are transferable 1:1 to several airline partners:
- Aeromexico Club Premier
- Air France-KLM Flying Blue
- Avianca LifeMiles
- Cathay Pacific Asia Miles
- Emirates Skywards
- JetBlue TrueBlue
- Qantas Frequent Flyer
- Singapore KrisFlyer
Now, despite there being no credit pull or fee, there are requirements to be eligible for the bonus. You must have an actual business that is a C-corp, S-corp, LLC, or LLP. Unlike many of the business cards we are accustomed to, a sole proprietorship does not qualify. If you simply have a small LLC, you are good to go! Better yet, if you have multiple businesses, each one is eligible for an account and the 110K sign-up bonus! I personally received 220K points for my two businesses!
Also, you want to make sure you select the “Cash” account
What are the other perks? The card earns 8x points on rideshare, 5x on travel booked via their portal, 4x on dining, and 3x on software and cloud services, 1.5x on advertising. They have some amazing business perks for account holders as well – $5,000 Amazon Web Services (AWS) credit, $150 Google Ads credit, discounts of up to 50% on Slack, Zoom, ZenDesk, QuickBooks, and Dropbox.
OMAAT was able to confirm that points earned through these offers are not taxed.
Once you apply your account may say “track your progress towards 30,000 bonus points”. That’s okay, the Brex site shows your tracking status towards the publicly available sign-up bonus, not the OMAAT special offer.
If you have a business (or several) this is a no-brainer. 110,000 transferable points for opening an account with no credit pull and no fee. You will not need to submit business receipts of any kind – you simply need an actual registered business – that is it! See all the details for this awesome and easy offer here.
