Fare Deal: US To Scandanavia & Finland From $349 RT On SAS

by Chris Dong

While airlines often have publicized fare “sales,” the deals that go unpublicized are the ones that usually attract the most attention. However, SAS’s marketed sale from the US to Scandinavia is legitimately great, and makes traveling to Europe oh-so-affordable.

Save some cash flying to Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen, or Helsinki — and use that money towards making memorable experiences in these amazing (but a bit pricey) capital cities.

The Deal

  • Where: All SAS gateway cities in the US to their Scandinavian hubs
    New York/Chicago/Los Angeles/Washington/Miami/Boston to Oslo/Stockholm/Helsinki/Copenhagen
  • When: January 2020 through May 2020 (sporadic dates)
  • How Much: From $349 round-trip
  • Why: Fantastic fares from the US to Scandinavia, perfect for ski season
  • How To Book: Search on Google Flights and book directly at SAS, or use on OTA like CheapOAir

These fares are for SAS Go Light, a fare type that resembles basic economy and does not include checked baggage. You’ll have to shell out a few more bucks if you want to fly with some heftier baggage. Still, these deals are solid and worth a look if you’re planning a trip to Scandinavia in 2020.
