First Boeing 747 is Being Rescued and Restored!

Museum of Flight curator Dan Hagedorn said this at the beginning of the restoration project – “No museum, anywhere, has ever faced a restoration project of this magnitude.”

The project is now in full swing and the aircraft has had its first paint job in decades – now in its original white, red and silver test-plane livery.
