The Loungaroo Is The Snuggie For Air Travelers

by Enoch

Air travel is exhausting, especially if you have long (or even overnight) layovers. Well, a new company is making a blanket that will make both your flight and your layover a bit better. The blanket is called the “Loungaroo,” but I can’t help but think of it as the Snuggie for air travelers.

As the name suggests, it’s like a blanket modeled after a kangaroo. There is a center “pouch,” which performs three different functions. It serves as a hand warmer, if you really want to look like a kangaroo and keep your hands warm at the same time. The pouch is also zippered, though, so you can store important travel documents or your cell phone inside. If you’re not using the blanket, you can fold it all into the pouch, which then allows it to serve as a pillow.

The product also comes with a foot pouch and a privacy hood, so you can actually completely envelope yourself with the blanket!

The blanket is actually not available for sale yet, but you can check out Loungaroo’s website for more information. The blanket is currently part of a Kickstarter project, so if you want to get your hands on one, you can always back the project. They are currently asking for a $40 pledge for the travel blanket (or $50 after the early bird special is over).

What do you think of the Loungaroo? Would you ever wear one?

Disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated with the maker of Loungaroo…I just think it’s a hilarious product that might actually be practical to some people.
