Roach Found At Bottom of American Airlines Served Soda Can

by Zoe

This is clearly a Coca-Cola issue as American is simply serving what’s been provided to catering, but it’s still gross nonetheless. Reader RJ says that while flying on AA 1105 from LaGuardia to Dallas on Friday, he discovered this roach at the bottom of his Dasani Sparkling Lime soda can.  Unfortunately for RJ, he had already consumed most of the beverage.  American was apologetic and offered him a new beverage and recommended tweeting at Coke / Dasani.

It’s funny, this is my new go-to beverage when flying with Delta and American, though it’s likely that this impacts all canned soda products.

RJ says American left the roach floating in the cup on the service cart for the remainder of the flight.

The next roach I can catch in my garage is also going to get me a few years of free flights…

Wonder why no one is blaming AA for this. If a cockroach is found in food on an Air India flight, everyone blames Air India. 🙂
