Supersonic Virgin Backed Jet Unveiled in Denver – Under 3.5 Hours London – New York, Miles for Concorde Redemptions

A prototype for the “future of supersonic travel” was unveiled this evening in Denver. The XB-1 aircraft was designed by Boom and is partially funded by Richard Branson.

The Virgin creator says that the jet will bring affordable supersonic travel to the masses. The aircraft is designed to travel between New York and London in under 3.5 hours. Test flights are scheduled to begin in early 2017 close by Virgin Galactic’s current home near Edwards Air Force Base in California.

A flight on the Concorde was one of the most luxurious award redemptions available at the time.  How many miles/points did it cost?
