I just received the email below from AMEX which announces that Business Platinum Card Members will soon be given 10 complimentary Gogo internet passes each calendar year. The passes will be good on any carrier equipped with Gogo wifi (Air Canada, AirTran, Alaska, American, Delta, Japan, United, US, and Virgin America). Pretty cool! An all day pass is normally $16 and a 1 hour pass is priced at $5.
Though the card has a $450 annual fee, the benefits are quite impressive:
- Up to $200 Annual Airline Fee Credit earned each calendar year as a statement credit.
- Complimentary airport lounge access to The Centurion Lounges, Delta Sky Clubs, and Airspace Lounges.
- Complimentary, unlimited Boingo Wi-Fi at more than 1,000,000 Boingo hotspots worldwide
- 10 Complimentary Gogo inflight internet passes each calendar year (an all day pass is normally $16 and a 1 hour pass is $5)
If you are someone who pays for a Sky Club membership the card just about pays for itself, especially with the $200 airline credit (I used mine to buy AA gift cards).
You can check out the full benefits for the card and the current sign-up offer here.
