Currently available promotions and recent devaluations have altered some of the usual transfer ratios of American Express Membership Rewards Points into their airline transfer partners. Such transfer ratios at the moment are the following:

*Ongoing promotion.
The promotional transfer ratio for Hawaiian Airlines (25% bonus) is scheduled to end on December 21, 2015, while the promotional transfer ratios for Iberia (25% bonus) is scheduled to end on December 31, 2015.
The promotion currently available for Virgin America consists of an upgrade to Elevate Gold Status when you transfer 80,000 points by December 31, 2015.
I do not think the promotions for Hawaiian and Virgin America are all that great. Even the promotion for Iberia is not that intriguing considering you were able to transfer Amex points into Iberia at a 1:1 ratio until a few months ago. However, Mommy Points recently reported that the actual transfer bonus for Iberia might be larger than what it is supposed to be.
It has been a while since there was an Amex transfer bonus promotion available worth taking advantage of. Hopefully that will change soon.
