Many of you headed out on New Year’s Eve to spend quality time with friends and family. It is the one night of the year that everyone has an excuse to stay up until midnight, at the very least, and sometimes even later!
Uber has provided us with interesting data in the past about our lifestyle habits based on when and where we use their services. This year, they released some tidbits of data regarding how we used Uber on New Year’s Eve. Here are some of their interesting observations:
- Chicagoans call it a night the earliest.
- The Canadians in Toronto party about an hour longer than Indians in Bangalore.
- Folks in Singapore and London really like to stay out late on New Year’s Eve with rides lasting until past 5AM
In addition, Uber also reported that 150,000 people worldwide were stuck in an Uber at the stroke of midnight. I wonder if any of those passengers kissed their driver?
