Etihad backed Alitalia has announced via a press release that updated uniforms and a new livery will be shared with the public on Thursday, June 4th. The new livery will supposedly maintain the flag colors of Italy while incorporating a “fresh and modern touch”. Meanwhile, the new uniforms are being created by two design schools in Italy.
“We will preserve the tail with the Italian flag, though updated in an elegant and modern way. Alitalia is a phenomenal brand that withstands all the events involving the company”, said Silvano Cassano, CEO of Alitalia.
“We have chosen two schools, the Marangoni in Milan and the Academy of Costume and Fashion in Rome – they will propose the new uniforms, look towards the future and new generations.”
Updates to follow the first week of June…
