Gizomodo has published a review of the wifi service aboard the legacy and low cost carriers, crowning JetBlue and its “Fly-Fi” Ka-band technology as the overall champion. I have to agree, my Fly-Fi experience was night and day when compared to the traditional Gogo ATG wifi found on most carriers. Fellow low cost carrier Virgin America snagged second place. Meanwhile, United ranked last among US carriers. I couldn’t gain re-publishing rights, but check out the full list and read about the future of in-flight wifi here.
