If you are a fan of celebrity chef Guy Fieri, then the news I am about to share with you will be good news. If not, then you may want to look away!
Carnival Cruise Lines recently revealed that Fieri’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse will be added to 3 more of the cruise line’s ships by the end of 2017. As you can probably guess, the Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse uses a real smoker to cook meat over hickory and cherry wood. The restaurant is already on the Carnival Magic, and will be added to the Carnival Vista, Carnival Dream, and Carnival Breeze. The restaurant will not be one which requires an upcharge, and will be free to all passengers on the cruise ship.
It is interesting to note that having a smoker on a cruise ship is a potential fire hazard, and Fieri said that the smoker used in his restaurant will be specially designed for the cruise ship.
Are you more likely or less likely to take a Carnival cruise knowing that there may be more Guy Fieri on board?
