After yesterday’s stunning vote in the United Kingdom to leave the European Union, travelers from the United States are rejoicing because overnight, prices just got 10% cheaper.
In the space of just a few hours overnight, the British pound dropped to its lowest level in more than 30 years. As the Leave campaign won the referendum, the pound hit 1.33 US dollars, reaching a low not seen since 1985. This came after the pound reached a high of 1.50 US dollars just hours earlier.
