Delta announced their plans for a second Delta Sky Club at Sea-Tac back in November 2015 with an opening date of late 2016. Well, they’ve met that schedule and the new Sky Club is set to open this Friday. However, the Puget Sound Journal received a special early tour today. The club includes 30 foot floor-to-ceiling windows, views of Mount Rainier, and an on site spa.
Thanks to Mike L of SEA-Li for passing on this link to the article describing the new club as well as the album with 19 photos of the new club.
From Delta’s press release:
At 21,000 square feet, the Seattle club ranks among the five largest Delta Sky Clubs and features contemporary furniture with power outlets near every seat, warm wood finishes reminiscent of the Pacific Northwest, rotating art curated from local galleries, a unique spa space to rejuvenate or relax, and personalized flight assistance among many other amenities.
“Our newest club in Seattle extends our commitment to creating world-class experiences for our customers,” said Claude Roussel, Managing Director — Delta Sky Club. “Seattle has a rapidly expanding business and travel community, and it’s important that we create an experience that uniquely represents the local market with a feel that’s also very inviting to the city’s guests.”
