Pokemon Tourism Is A Thing

by Eric

We recently saw that there were tourist destinations which had banned playing Pokemon Go from sites like a temple. Now there is news that there are travel agencies which offer specific tours designed for Pokemon Go players. I’m not sure how I feel about this!

Junior Travel, a tour company from Granada, Spain, posted a job ad online looking for people to serve as guides for groups hunting for Pokemon Go characters. Inundated with more than 2,000 applications, the company now has its choice of guides to travel across Spain, in cities like Valencia, Barcelona and Madrid to go Pokemon hunting. According to the company, the Junior Travel’s tours will drive tourists around in a bus, with their guides offering expert advice on hunting Pokemon. The cost? Up to 43 Euros/day.

Would you pay to have an expert show you how to hunt Pokemon?
