With the United States presidential election coming up in two months, both Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are boosting their campaign effort across the country. For the final stretch, Hillary Clinton has just unveiled her new campaign plane, and it’s a 737-800 that at one point belonged to Airberlin.

According to Planespotters, this 737-800 first entered service in 2002. Airberlin configured the plane to be all-Economy, with 186 seats. The plane was later leased to Orenair 10 years later, and is currently operated by Xtra Airways.
Hillary Clinton recently invited the press onboard, so we get to catch a glimpse inside. The pictures showed multiple Economy cabins, but it’s not clear whether the plane is still configured as it originally was. Apart from the new livery consisting of her campaign slogan, there appeared to be no further campaign-specific furnishes inside. Reportedly, the plane will be shared with campaign staff, Secret Services, and reporters.

If you are hoping to track where the plane is going, though, you might be out of luck. The operator has elected to block public tracking of the aircraft.
Clinton flew on her new campaign plane to Cleveland this Labor Day. Also on the tarmac was Donald Trump and his running mate Mike Pence’s planes. Trump bought his 757, which previously belonged to Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, in 2011. Mike Pence appears to have been traveling on a separate 737, which is operated by (the “rebooted”) Eastern Air Lines.

So I guess Loretta Lynch wasn’t at the airport by accident? Sorry I couldn’t help it. Well that and the #Conair1 I’ve been seeing around Twitter 🙂
Eastern Air Lines didn’t “used to fly” that 737. They do fly that 737, it’s chartered from Eastern. Look it up. Besides, Eastern would’ve never operated the 737-800 given that they went bankrupt in 1991 and the 737 NG first flew in 1997.
Thanks for that. Fixed!
Okay… not actively trying to be rude but… it’s not fixed…
“Mike Pence appears to have been traveling on a separate 737, which Eastern Air Lines USED TO FLY at point.”
