Last May Air France unveiled their updated first class product, the new La Première Luxury Suite. The cabin is composed of 4 private suites which are currently available for travel on some 777-300ER intercontinental flights. The first updated aircraft began operating in June between New York and Paris. Other routes operated by the new planes include Paris to both Singapore and Jakarta. In total, 19 B777-300ER will have the new cabin when refurbishments are complete (there has still been no word on upgrades for the A380s).
Bloomberg has video of the new cabin experience below. Sadly, you (and I) probably won’t be redeeming miles for an award in the new cabin any time soon- they are only available to FlyingBlue elite members and only at the FLEX level (essentially double normal mileage pricing).
