We have seen a tremendous amount of promotions related to Hyatt in the past few weeks, and many of them are completely stackable. Here is a roundup of all currently available Hyatt offers:
“More Points More Play” – Up to 75,000 Points
This is Hyatt’s fall promotion, which enables you to earn up to 75,000 points when you stay at Hyatt properties worldwide. The bonus is tiered, and you get a higher bonus with ever 5 nights, with the maximum 75,000 points after 25 nights, which do not have to be consecutive. You can check out our analysis on how the math works out.
- Valid for Stays: Until November 30, 2016
- Participating Properties: Worldwide Hyatt properties
- Registration Required? Yes
- Targeted? No
Buy Points with a 40% Bonus
I am a big fan of Hyatt, mostly because I find their hotels to be generally new and high quality, even with the cheapest brands. With the right properties, their points can be put to great use. With this promotion, you can basically buy Hyatt points for 1.71 cents a piece.
In the extreme end, this represents savings of up to $500 – $1000 compared to the cash rate at Category 7 hotels like the Park Hyatt New York, Sydney, or Paris. In the lowest end, 5,000 points (which cost ~$86 with the promotion) can get you a free night at the Category 1 Park Hyatt Chennai. See our take on the offer here, or buy points here.
- Limit: 55,000 points (77,000 after bonus) per year, workaround possible
- Targeted? No
500 Points for Booking Through the Hyatt App

20% Bonus Points in Las Vegas
Hyatt has a partnership with MGM properties in Las Vegas, where Gold Passport members can enjoy reciprocal earning, redemptions, and elite benefits with MGM’s MLife program. This promotion gives you 20% bonus, or 1 point per dollar, when you stay with Hyatt in Vegas.
- Valid for Stays: October 19 – December 29, 2016

More points More play is until November 30th, not October 31st.
Whoops. Thanks Are—fixed.
Well, I’m doing all of them that I can. Looks like I probably won’t get past 20 nights for the fall promo so probably just 50K of the available 75K. And I did get some points back for a redemption. And yes I got and used the Hyatt Regency and Amex Sync offers (only on two cards though so limited impact). I won’t be buying any points though or traveling to Vegas. Still, a lot of stays planned at Hyatts because of these promotions that I would otherwise be doing at SPG properties. This year I won’t make it to SPG 75 as a result.
Don’t forget the 500 points for each stay booked through the app!
Good call! Added to the post—thanks!
