Woman Sues Delta For “Complex Dental Restoration” After In-Flight Meal, Airline Offers $80 in SkyMiles

by Adam

Think about this the next time you dine in the sky… a Malibu woman is suing Delta for $10K for destroying her bottom teeth. TMZ reports that she ordered pita bread with eggplant dipping sauce on a Delta flight in 2015. Apparently, when she went to take a bite, she felt a pebble in her eggplant sauce.  That pebble forced her to undergo two years of “complex dental restoration”.

The woman claims that Delta flight attendants came running to her seat after she screamed in pain, but they only offered her $80 in airline miles (I wonder how her attorneys valued those SkyMiles 😉 ), not nearly enough to cover her medical expenses.

TMZ reached out to Delta, but no word back yet. Pictures available on their site

must have been 70,000 Skymiles or so, to be valued at $80 🙂

If it had been a United flight they would have offered to blacken her eyes and break her nose as they dragged her from the plane.
