Delta 747 Shown Dead in the Desert :-(

Both Delta and United retired their 747 fleets to the desert last year where they are stored in case a buyer is found…or more likely until they are scrapped for parts. It’s one thing to know that these beautiful birds are sitting silent in the desert, it’s another to see one being scrapped.  Twitter user Royal S King posted the remains of a Delta 747 in a junkyard in Marana, Arizona.

  1. A plane is build to fly not lay on a trash.
    It’s a beautiful object but here it’s serve for nothing so If its components can be used for something new it’s better than pollute the desert.
