Three great 100k offers available this weekend from Chase including the best ever Chase Sapphire Preferred offer and a FINALLY increased Chase Sapphire Reserve sign-up.
Chase Sapphire Preferred
This is the BEST EVER publicly available sign-up for the Chase Sapphire Preferred – 100,000 Ultimate Rewards points after spending $4,000 within three months. We have not seen the sign-up bonus go above the generally available 60k and the very limited 80k sign-up offers ever. These points are valued at $1,250 in travel (1.25 cents each), but as you’re likely aware, you can do much better than that by transferring these to many of the UR transfer partners – likely stretching these to $2000-$3000 in value.
Now, let’s talk about the rules. In addition to the 5/24 rule, you can only apply if you have not received a new cardmember bonus on any Chase Sapphire card (Preferred or Reserve) in the past 48 months. You also cannot currently have either the Preferred or the Reserve. If it’s been over 48 months, but you currently have one of the cards, you can downgrade it to a Freedom card and then apply. The general recommendation is to wait at least 24 hours after downgrading to apply, though there are some data points that point to success as soon as the downgrade is complete. Full application and details here.
Note that Chase has added a special $50 in statement credits towards supermarkets / grocery store purchases for the first year. The card earns double points on travel and restaurant purchases and 5x points on Lyft. You’ll also receive a complimentary DashPass subscription from DoorDash to get unlimited deliveries with a $0 delivery fee + earn up to $60 back on a Peloton membership through 12/31/2021.
Wow, United and Chase are out with a new card – the United QuestSM Card and for a limited-time the launch offer is up to 100,000 MileagePlus bonus miles.

Marriott Bonvoy BoundlessTM Credit Card
This bonus was just 70,000-75,000 Bonvoy points earlier this week. Chase has now increased the sign-up back to 100,000 points after just $3,000 in spend in the first 3 months. This is the highest the offer has ever been – usually with a higher spend requirement. The card also includes an annual free night after each account anniversary at hotels up to 35,000 points. The card has a $95 annual fee which is not waived for the first year.
Chase Sapphire Reserve®
For the first time since this card came out 4+ years ago, Chase is finally offering an increased offer from the normal 50,000 point sign-up. The current bonus is 60,0000 points after spending $4,000 on purchases in the first 3 months. That’s an increase of 10,000 points and a lower spend requirement. You’re likely aware, the card earns 3x points on travel and dining as well as a $300 travel credit (good at gas stations and supermarkets through December 31, 2021). You can also receive a complimentary DashPass subscription from DoorDash and a $60 DoorDash statement credit, 10x points on Peloton Bike, Tread and accessory purchase over $1,800, with a max earn of 50,000 points and up to $120 in statement credits on monthly memberships. The card has a $550 annual fee.
All of these cards fall under Chase’s 5/24 rule that prevents you from being approved if you opened five or more new card accounts in the past 24 months.
